With pleasure I welcome you to Kamrup College of Vocational Training (KCVT). Established in 1955, it is a premier Vocational Training Institute of the North–East Region. For over sixty two years KCVT has succeeded in providing quality vocational education to several thousand young man and woman of the Region.
Skill development is the key to Vocational training, and this is the motto of KCVT. Our emphasis has been on performance and not merely on knowledge .This is precisely the reason for our students being suitably employed in Government, semi Government and corporate organisations. It is no exaggeration to say that KCVT has been recognised as a trend-setter in the field of vocational and commercial education in this Region.
Our emphasis is always on competency-based training. Besides vocational training, students will be taught communication and soft skill along with other employable skills that will make them easily employable.
We are also associated with the British Council to register and train candidates for IELTS examination.
